Import script in PDF with a simple drag-n-drop.
V-Slate will extract the text and detect where each scene begins and end.
Writes scenes with corresponding scene text, page start, page end, page count.

Automatically compares the shot description to the scene text and renames the shot if necessary (if the description from shot 101_025_010 moves from scene 25 to 26 it would rename it as 101_026_010 and link it to the new scene)

Imports and parses Cut EDLs, creating the events, identifies Shot Ids and VFX description, creates shots in Shotgrid with VFX description, creates and uploads an editorial reference QT of the shot from a QT reference of the episode or feature and links it to the corresponding shot.
Creates Cut and Cut Items automatically in Shotgrid for in-context reviews.

Bilateral synchronization with ShotGrid for any entity/ table in V-Slate.
Automatically syncs shots, assets, versions and playlists from Shotgrid in the background.
Map any fields from V-Slate with corresponding ones in Shotarid independently for upload and download.

Looks at all versions from one or many playlists, then downloads the original (source) files to your local drive.
Give vendors limited access to this layout, only playlist assigned to them will be visible, available for download.
Easy way to turnover any additional files to vendors (HDRIs, images, QT references, PDFs, etc)

Example: Have the shot status change to “final” whenever any version status linked to that shot changes to “final”

Separately link invoices to POs to make sure all PO balances are being invoiced and paid.

Exports to excel in same format, including a separate tab for each report, making it easy to modify or copy the data to a different format.
